Using Social Media to sell too hard. You can use social media for sale, but their main goal should be to build relationships that can then lead to commercial advantage.

A badly written press release. The press release should be read as a history of newspapers, audio-visual for the media. It should be in inverted pyramid style. Start with the most important point and proceed to the point of minor importance. It must be written in the third person – it is not it, – I. It must be somewhere between 400-600 words long.

Release small owners. This is the most important part of the press release. It must attract the attention of the journalist and give the impression of history.
Advertising. The press release should be read as news, not a thinly veiled advertising. Avoid jargon and hype.

Be communicative. Journalists are very busy. If you pick up the phone are polite, but always straight to the point of your call.

Wait too long. Many people try their stories, without enough time to throw journalists. If you have an event, share that you want to advertise on the playground at least two weeks in advance to send to newspapers and radio stations. Most magazines have a wait of several months to a year to keep, one in mind.
