<p><strong>Six major classes of nutrients:</strong><br />

3.	<strong>Fat</strong><br />
4.	<strong>Protein</strong><strong><br />
5.	<strong>Minerals</strong></strong><br />
6.	<strong>Water</strong></p>
<p><strong>Carbohydrates</strong></p>
<p>Carbohydrates as monosaccharide’s, disaccharides, polysaccharides or the number of monomer units to be classified (sugar) in the units they contain.</p>
<p>Form a large part of the food such as rice, pasta, bread and other grain products. Monosaccharides contain one sugar unit, disaccharides and polysaccharides, two, three or more. Polysaccharides are often called complex carbohydrates because they are usually long chains of sugar units of several branches. The difference is that the complex carbohydrates take longer to digest and absorb their sugar units are to be separated from the chain before absorption.
